CFA Presentation for families
February 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Mount Eliza North Primary School is located in a bushfire prone area and is registered as a Bushfire at Risk School. Recent fire events have highlighted how vital it is to be prepared for possible bushfires. The Department of Education has a strong partnership with the CFA in the South-Eastern Region and is proud of this initiative to support the safety of our school community from Bushfire.
The school is facilitating a presentation to support our community in making decisions and plans for their families in relation to living in a bushfire prone area. The workshop will assist participants to prepare themselves, their families and their homes for the summer season. The information provided on the night includes weather outlooks, information and warnings, general bushfire safety information, and bushfire survival plans.
