WHAT IS MULTI-AGE EDUCATION?
The term multi-age has developed into an actual philosophy of teaching based on developmentally appropriate ideals. Multi-age education is the deliberate placing of children of different ages, (and abilities) in the same classroom. Within the classroom, students are often regrouped into different learning abilities, rather than being taught at age level. They are taught at their point of challenge.
